Cookie settings

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Vistavert only uses what is strictly needed for the Site to work. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to accept or refuse here.

Cookies we use

• sid (session): keeps you logged in. It lasts up to 30 days or until you log out, and is not readable by scripts on the page.
• lang (language): remembers whether you chose English or French. It lasts 1 year.
• theme (display): remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It lasts 1 year.

Local browser storage

When you upload a large file, your browser keeps a small record of the upload on your device (stored under a key starting with up:) so that an interrupted upload can be resumed. It is kept for up to 20 hours and never leaves your browser.

Managing them

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. If you do, you will be logged out, the language and display theme will go back to their defaults, and any upload in progress will no longer be resumable. Blocking the sid cookie prevents you from logging in.
